Harold Hamm School of Geology and Geological Engineering at the University of North Dakota

Executive Chairman Harold Hamm pledged $10 million in 2012 to create the Harold Hamm School of Geology and Geological Engineering at the University of North Dakota. The donations have funded two endowed professor positions, scholarships, and a virtual core library that has helped in the development of Bakken Shale, one of the nation’s largest oil plays. Additionally, Â鶹´«Ã½ has financially contributed to Dickinson State University, South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Chickasha Public Schools, and Enid Public Schools.
